Hiking PA Series - George Lorimer Preserve

This is the second part of a three part series on Hiking in PA, specifically in Chester County and nearby. Today, we are focusing on the George Lorimer Preserve which I usually access from North Valley Road in Paoli. The George Lorimer Preserve, is part of the land conserved by the Open Land Conservancy. There are open fields or meadow as defined on the trail map, wooded areas, pretty flat but with some small hills and plenty of creeks. The distances are not great, but the views are lovely, and you also get to see some of the beautiful homes surrounding the Preserve from a different angle.Jackie our dog loves coming here, dogs must be kept on leash, as there are plentiful smells of other dogs and animals, such as foxes and deer, plus racoons and skunks.
