There is definitely some good news for the canal mules in New Hope.  Apparently as reported by the Bucks County Herald, in one day local businesses raised $20,000 to save the mules and barges. For those of you who are not from Bucks County, PA, the mule and barges on the canal are a part of the history as written about belowIn the early 1800's, America was growing rapidly.
