Season Change and We Miss Them . I received a call from past clients today . They moved five years ago to a warm and sunny climate  . They miss the change of seasons . They want to come home . I told them to think long and hard . They said they had thought about it . We talked about the weather , the snow     and the freezing temperatures. I know they said but we miss it . We miss the change of seasons . We miss our friends and family .   Yes the weather is beautiful but there is more to life  We want to come home . Find us a house. No Commission is Worth Your Life   An agent in our area went on a listing appointment . The house looked run down , Upon entering the house the seller locked the door behind her . The home was in disarray and had a horrible smell . She had a sinking feeling in her stomach that something was amiss as the seller approached her .He was also unclean . She asked the seller to move away he would not . She told him she had no desire to list his house and to please step aside . He became angry and moved closer . She did manage to open the door and get out of the house to safety. This is a true story . I first read this alert on Facebook.   Home for the Holidays with the Family in Bensalem Pa       My daughter , my son in law, and my four grandchildren  decorated  the tree this year in a Disney theme . The characters on the tree are all Disney Character's that she has collected through out the years . It is topped with a beautiful bow . We will sit by the fire and open all the wonderful presents . I cannot think of a better way to spend my Holiday then with my family . My grandchildren ages range from 5 - 13 years old  .  There will be a variety of gifts for all ages to open . Am I the Dinosaur in the Real Estate World Today  ?  I was reading an article today and listening to agents talking about not having to meet with clients in person  . Social media devices ,cell phones , texting ,doc u sign this was the way to go .   But I feel it is better to sit down with your clients face to face and get a better understanding of who they are and what they want .  I also am against meeting strangers at properties . I also like to explain the process of buying a house the first time I meet with clients . I go over the agreement of sale so when we find the perfect house all the paper work is not overwhelming . "Big Hero 6" In Theaters Phila & Bucks County Trailer Preview for 2014 . Looking for a  movie to share with the kids and enjoy as an adult . Disney animation has created an enjoyable movie in "Big Hero 6 " . I took my five year old granddaughter Olivia and my seven year old Grandson Aidan to see this movie . I must say we all enjoyed it .  It held their attention of course we had candy no popcorn they get sick from popcorn . We did not even need a bathroom intermission. So if you are looking for a movie to take the youngsters to that you will also enjoy .  First Snow Happy Thanksgiving Busiest Travel Day of the Year  A Weather Alert Announced ! They said it would snow I thought no way it would . Monday  the temperatures were in the 70's .  Today Wednesday the day before Thanksgiving snow is predicted . It was raining this morning when I left for the office .I  got everything done extra early and left by 10:45 stopped at the bank thinking no way this rain is turning to snow . Suddenly the poring rain was  was mixing with snow on my windshield . I was so happy I was finished everything I had to do . I was homeward bound . Now all the rain had turned to wet snow . Daylight Savings Time Fall Back Change Clocks Turn Back one Hour  Every Year we wonder what do we do when we change the clocks .The easiest way to remember this is Fall back . In the spring we move forward . I have always dreaded this time of year . It gets dark early and every day earlier.I do hate to drive home in the dark . It is also easier to show homes in the evening when it is not so dark . It is said that Daylight Savings Time is an accomplice for hundreds of traffic deaths ever year .  A question arises is Daylight Savings  Time really still necessary ?   The loss of day light is also said to have a negative effect on our health.
