Forest Heights is an upscale neighborhood, nestled in the hills west of downtown Portland. For this reason, being only a 10 minute commute downtown, it is desireable. But, the Forest Heights neighborhood itself is more then the age-old adage of; location, location, location. Forest Park is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Portland, mainly because of the massive park, aptly named Forest Park.  The park is the largest of its kind within city limits anywhere in the US, boasting 5,170 acres and over 40 miles of trails. The area combines rolling green pastures, stunning views East and West, and fine homes in both new developments and on existing large lots. Relocating to Forest Heights Each week I look at the local market areas, and from the CURRENT ACTIVE LISTINGS, I like to select one property as my Pick of the Week. If I was relocating, one neighborhood that I would certainly consider would be Forest Heights.  I've written several posts about the Forest Heights area which outline why I would consider relocating to Forest Heights, a community located in the City of Portland.
