A trip outside the border, barking dogs and maybe a little too much wine I just had the best New Year’s Eve celebration I’ve had in a long time!  My husband and I are both loan officers and have found it difficult to take two weeks off since we combined our businesses, which was roughly 9 years ago.  But this year we worked so hard and achieved every goal we set, and we wanted to reward ourselves with two weeks of vacation, fun, resting and rejuvenation time!!!  We even traveled outside US borders – we really wanted to get away and let go!  Sure we’ve answered emails from clients or calls from staff, but all in all, we have ‘rested.’ But not last night! Attended church in Myrtle Creek, OR and then, in the same community, attended my sister, JoAnne Johnson's 27th annual family carol sing at her home near Myrtle Creek, OR.  Dozens and dozens of people.  Caroling singing to a guitar played by her son, Rod.
