 Looking for a Great Value in Central Oregon Golf – River’s Edge Golf Course in Bend, Oregon is a must play.  Situated on Awbrey Butte on Bend’s NW side, almost all 18 holes have stunning views of Powell Butte, the Deschutes River, Mt. Hood or Mt. Jefferson.  River’s Edge Golf Course is an 18-hole par-72 Robert Muir Graves designed course.  The front 9 was built in 1987 and the back 9 along with a new Proshop were added in 1994.  The Course has a full practice facility including a large driving range as well as a large chipping and putting green.   River’s Edge Golf Course has also been named to Golf Digest’s “Best Places to Play.”  Having played a few rounds here myself, I must agree - it’s tough but fun.   River’s Edge Golf Course is one of the few Courses in Bend, Oregon, open year r... 08/10/2009
