Simcoe County forest borders Bear Creek Meadows in South West Barrie. It is a favorite place for residents to enjoy a breath of oxygen and is frequented by families with little ones, teenagers who like to make ramps for their bikes or sleds in the winter. It is a reforestation area so the trees are planted neatly in rows and lend a great opportunity for fun photos. It is also an occasional hangout place for deer and coyotes; we are always alert if we go for a walk in the evenings after dark.
