Summertime, Ice Dance teams from Mariposa School of Skating practice at the East Bayfield Arena, so after dropping my son off, I have an opportunity to enjoy an early morning walk in the area. The streets are quiet and empty, (we are talking 6:00am, here) and I can take in the crisp air and smell of fresh cut grass. I walk fast, and try to get a good workout, walking a different route every time. Today, I came into the area, I never visited before and, to be honest, I was very impressed. Cassandra Dr, just East of Sister Catherine Donnelly School. Here, the lawns were beautifully manicured, edges trimmed and planting beds covered with mulch to keep the weeds in check.
