What a treat I had today.  I toured three homes in the Rustling Hills addition in Edmond.  As soon as we entered the neighborhood I was taken with the mature trees.  I can only imagine how beautiful it will be a few weeks when the leaves begin to turn.  I also liked that the homes set back quite a bit on the lots.  This gave a very open feel to the area as we drove through.As always, let's staty with the basic information.  Priced in the popular $200-300K price range, Rustling Hills is located in Edmond off North Bryant between Coffee Creek and Sorghum Mill Roads.  Most of the homes were built in the late 1970's and early 1980's.  They average around 3000 square feet and sit on between 1 and 2 acre lots.  Kiddos in the neighborhood attend school at Edmond's newest elementary school, Cen... 09/28/2010

Yesterday's blog on What You Get For The Money - AR style was easy for me. I only had a few homes to choose from that have sold this year around $100,000. Big Thanks to Sarah Cooper, who had a nice contribution with What You Get for the Money in Hurricane, WV: $100,000 (Plus a Challenge!) Today's $200,000 range presents some new challenges for me. I have 22 properties to choose from, ranging from new construction to a home built in 1978, with an average sale price of $200,221 for 2193 square feet or $93.67 per square foot. In fact, there have been 122 homes sold since the first of 2007 ranging from 100,000 to 200,000. I'm interested to see the responses from other parts of the country to see how we compare.
