Every area has a top end on what type of price you can expect to get for certain homes.  A typical starter "2 story 4 BR 2.5 BA 2 car garage w/fin LL" in Mason Ohio is going to sell for around $250k give or take a bit.  There are neighborhoods that support houses of lower values and those that support higher values.  If you take your typical starter home and add granite counters & custom cabinets, an elaborate flagstone patio and other bells and whistles you'll discover that you won't get a dollar for dollar return on your investments.  Why?  Because each subdivision has a normal ceiling for top price that is dictated by buyer demand.  Rather than spend $300k in a neighborhood where $250k is the norm, buyers will head to communities where $300k is more the norm.  Again why?  Because sim...

Before you start reading this report, take a deep breath and KEEP CALM!  When you look at the median price for Mason Ohio condos your first inclination just might be to lose your mind!  Or if you're a buyer to think there are some tremendous bargains to be had!  But here's the reality, the Mason Ohio condo market is running on fumes when it comes to volume of homes for sale and sold, so the numbers are EASILY moved.  For February, it was bargain shopping month in Mason with 5 of the 12 condos sold priced below $100,000.  And those 5 cleaned out  all the under $100k condos for sale in Mason.  There are some left under contract, but as of this report, NONE for sale below $100,000.  And with small numbers of condos for sale, under contract or sold, it's easy for the numbers to shift radica...

It's time to mark your calendars for the annual Build The Walls event at Christ's Church at Mason April 22, 2017.  If you ever get to feeling a little skeptical about humanity, this is an event that will cause your heart to swell and put a smile on your face (although you might want an Advil or two for afterwards!).It's an amazing display of teamwork that in just a few hours results in the walls being framed for approximately 6 houses.  Crews of 4-7 grab a plan, collect the pre-cut wood and assemble the frames.  You see where the windows and doors will be and know that a deserving family is going to put some sweat equity into making these walls part of their future home.  The walls get loaded up on the trucks and sent off to their destination.  The teams keep repeating the process until...

 The Mason Ohio condo market continues to be a small segment of the Mason real estate market! The main reason? Purely a scarcity of Mason condos for sale.  With an increase of a whopping ONE from early December until today, 13 condos not under contract is just not much of a selection!  And with a big drop in the condos under contract, we've got a market that needs more supply SOON to satisfy buyer demand!   Consistent from last month, the nice condos are moving SUPER FAST, with half of them under contract in 5 days or less!
