Mason Ohio doesn't lack for high end homes.  Locally RE/MAX defines luxury as any home $500,000 and up and the home becomes eligible for special designation and advertising. At $500,000, a typical Mason community would include Carmelle:Now obviously in some parts of the country $500,000 is just a "starter" home, but that's not the case here.  Depending on the type of home,  a Mason home at around $500,000 is most likely a semi-custom builder (Drees, Fischer, John Henry, M/I, etc.).  You'll have a wide variety of floor plans to choose from, but still limited in the changes you can make.  Most likely at around $500,000 you're looking at a 3000-4000 sq ft home,  4 to 5 bedrooms, most likely 2 story with a 3 car garage and a full basement (MAYBE even finished).  Appointments in the home will...

Cincinnati's Long Cove community is one of the most prestigious in the area, but the one thing it didn't offer was patio homes, until now!  Copper Creek Homes is offering a VERY limited 5 home community called The Enclave at Long Cove.  As of September 2018, Copper Creek has completed one home and it's fantastic!  Click the link for The Enclave at Long Cove for details on that home (assuming no one has bought it yet!).  They have paper plans for another four patio homes, but it's early enough to hire Copper Creek Homes to make your home completely custom.Like all patio homes, your HOA fee takes care of basic landscaping.Costs for these patio homes are in the $650,000 and up range.Located in Deerfield Township, The Enclave at Long Cove will save you city income tax (none there!).The Encl...

Is A Prestige Subdivision Name Worth It? Long Cove.  Heritage Club.  Chestnut Hill. Say these names and people that know luxury homes in Mason KNOW where you live.  Custom homes.  Upscale features.  Unique.  Curb appeal.  NOT cookie cutter by any means. One of the perks of living in these communities is that despite the differentiation home to home, there's also homogeneity.  ALL the homes are upscale.  They're consistent in that regard, so when it's time to sell, there's price support for each other because each homes customization supports its worth. Where you encounter trouble is when you buy in what we'd label "faux" prestige developments.  We commonly see this when a developer carves out a smaller pocket of homes within a larger community and gives it a name like "The Reserves of _...
