Last year on this date, I was in Cincinnati.................. It was a beautiful day and I drove down to help my friends Ellen and Mike get settled in their new apartment.  Also to shop and purchase what they needed to complete the decorating. This year, Ellen and Mike are in Maryland.  Mike took a job there, so they had to find a place, and of course, I'll be going to help them.  The timing just didn't work out for me to be there when the movers arrived from Cincinnati with furniture.  Christmas sort of got in the way and they are going out of town for a few days, so I am flying out of Cleveland on January 2, 2013 to help them in their fabulous new place. Horseshoe Casino Cleveland opened on May 14, 2012 in the lower four floors of the Higbee Building on Public Square in Downtown. There are 2,100 slot machines, 65 gaming tables, a high-limit area and a poker room with 25-30 in the 300,000 square feet  of gaming space. Size Matters!It think it's safe to say that the market in Cleveland is still challenging.  For me, the start to the year was slow but now I can't find enough hours in the day to show all the homes that people want to see and keep up with the day to day activities of marketing my listings and keeping close tabs on my closings. But it is still a challenge to just close the sales on paper.
