We have 220 new homes available on the market and 38 homes that have come back on for a total of 258 fresh homes to view.  101 homes transfered ownership while 95 homes failed to sell durring their contract period.  Cincinnati REALTORS® have been given an update on the real estate market in Cincinnati by the Cincinnati Board of REALTORS®®. The report shows that nationally home sales in August nationally were down 12.8% while in Cincinnati we were down 17.7% from a year ago. They also report that nationally there is a 10 month inventory of unsold homes on the market nationally. In the Cincinnati area we are a little better than that at a 8.3 month inventory. The Cincinnati board also is being realistic and reporting that the bottom of this market has not been reached yet but we have not seen the 30% declines that some parts of the country have experienced. This is still a hard time to sell a home and you must price it to the market not what you want to sell it for!
