Did You Know?... On November 27th, 1924 Macy’s Department Store held its first Thanksgiving Day Parade. The parade route two miles long had an audience of a quarter of a million people. It was known then as the "Macy’s Christmas Parade" and featured Macy’s employees, live animals from the Central Park Zoo and Floats as the main attraction.                    According to the National Association of Realtors®, first quarter statistics again point to better home sales figures. This time it was the prices of single family homes that rose in half of the major cities in the United States.
