Ask different people get different answers. Home sales have gone up in the past few months mostly because of the government offered tax credits. Does that mean the market is doing better? Only time will tell. I can tell you two months after the tax credit window closed houses are still selling in the Plainview, & Old- Bethpage, NY. markets. My last listing was under contract in less than 65 days and had many back up offers.
