For lovers of animals, there is a new exhibit at Sagamore Hill in Oyster Bay Cove that just opened and will run till Jan. 2009. Sagamore Hill in Oyster Bay Cove is a neighboring village of Oyster Bay, NY. It was the summer White House during the Theodore Roosevelt presidency. The photo exhibit is titled "White House Pets: Ambassadors at Large" sponsored by Friends of Sagamore Hill and the Sagamore Hill National Historic Site. There are photos of animals at the White House from Thomas Jefferson era all the way to George W. Bush. Artifacts relating to pets at Theodore Roosevelt White House were also added.
