Living In The Hudson Valley An afternoon on the farm….. A treat of living in the Hudson Valley is all four of the seasons. Even winter has a plus side to it, but Autumn is my favorite for the photo opportunities it provides. The colors can be breath taking and the fresh, crisp, cool air a delight. Getting out for an afternoon on a local farm is not just for the kids. My girls have been out of the house for many years, but my husband and I never miss an opportunity for an afternoon on the farm. Pumpkins and apples grow nearby and it is hard to miss such a great event. Apple picking starts in late August and is just about over now.
