I've been seeing 2 inter-related trends lately in Westchester County - 1) Kitchens with hardwood flooring and 2) dark hardwood flooring. So, naturally, we are seeing lots of kitchens with dark hardwood flooring. Often, dark hardwood floors are paired with light cabinets, especially white and cream, for a nice contrast.
