I have had a lot of questions lately about the Hicksville Schools. So, based on my own knowledge as a realtor, plus a bit of research, I will begin to post some info on our school system that might be helpful to folks thinking of moving into the community and possibly buying real estate in Hicksville!  Some of the info I researched, came from the Hicksville Public Schools site (www.Hicksvillepublicschools.org). There are 7 Elementary Schools: Burns Avenue, Lee Avenue, Woodland Avenue, Old Country Rd., Dutch Lane, East Street and Fork Lane.   Each elementary school has between 300 - 400 students so that makes them nice neighborhood schools.  They are sincerely committed to higher academic standards for all students and the dedicated teaching staff is constantly adding new programs & curr... 10/05/2009

We have been seeing an increased demand for housing in the Hicksville market.
