Earlier this year, after visiting Cedar Grove, my husband and I decided to take a trip up Route 9W.  At first I protested because I did not think it was going to be very scenic.  We got as far as the Coxsackie correctional facility and I was insisting we turn around but just then an unsual barn caught my attention.  Later I found out it was probably the oldest multisided barn in New York. This thirteen sided barn was intriquing so I wanted to learn more. So, I turned down this side street which brought me to a wonderful discovery - the Bronck's property. Here we discovered some really old buildings and have sinced learned that the Bronck's house is the oldest home in Upstate NY.
