New Mexico Fire Update - Sunday, July 24, 2011 New Mexico Largest Fire is now 85 percent contained and has consumed a total of over 156,000 acres of land.  It's as if it is now yesterday's news.  The focus has now shifted to thunderstorms and other issues across the state.  But there is still work to be done. Let's keep in mind that there are still first responsers out there who are doing good work.  It may not make the headlines anymore, but there is still work to be done.  Thanks to KOB TV for their latest report. I would encourage each and every one of you to watch the documentary called "Collapse" You can watch it off Net Flicks if you are a member and you will be quite surprised and shocked of what you see  and hear.  I would suggest you have an open mind when you are watching and listening to this information. LAS CONCHAS FIRE GROWS TO OVER 121,000 ACRES, BUT GREAT NEWS FOR LOS ALAMOS   YESTERDAY'S NEWS, COURTESY OF KOB TV "Crews make some progress on NM's largest FIRE"  "The fire grew to 113,734 acres with over 50% of Bandalier National Monument's Land burnt.
