Brigantine NJ is a summer paradise island along the South Jersey coast line. Other popular beach towns are Atlantic City, Margate, Ventnor, Longport and Ocean City. Each island is unique. While you won't find a boardwalk or carnival games along the shore in Brigantine you will find plenty of sand, surf and beach. Brigantine is popular with the fishing crowd as well as all other water sports. There are several marina's on Brigantine Island. There are plenty of single family homes in Brigantine and numerous condominiums. The island has seen a bit of a transformation as smaller homes are replaced with larger homes. Here are some of the more popular condominums in Brigantine. For a full list of what's for sale in Brigantine here are two great sites: South Jersey HomesOr my newest site Jerse...

Brigantine Sandpiper Condominium is an easy “miss” when you’re shopping for Brigantine Condominiums and yet they are some of the nicest on the island. There aren’t many (just about 50) in the community so you won’t see too many condominiums come up for sale at Brigantine’s Sandpiper Condominium Complex. There are 1 and 2 bedroom units at the Sandpiper. This community has it’s own pool. Nobody knows Brigantine like Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Fox & Roach Realtors. To view properties in the Sandpiper please call Steven Schafer at 609-470-1806.  Click here to see current listings at  the Sandpiper.

Brigantine A Zone is  considered the area near the middle of town and most would agree this the premium real estate. Brigantine A Zone streets would  be 15th Street South to 30th Street, from the ocean to the bay.  There are no commercial, condo or multi-family properties in the A Zone. Oceanfront A-Zone homes command premium buyers. The 400 block is ocean block, and is Ocean Ave up to and including oceanfront properties. The 300 block is beach-block, and is the ocean side of Brigantine Avenue to the bayside of Ocean Avenue. The 200 block is Revere Blvd to Bayside of Brigantine Avenue. The 100 block is by the bay, which is the ocean side of Bayshore Avenue to the bayside of Revere Blvd. * As a South Jersey agent working at Berkshire Hathaway Fox & Roach I work with some of Brigantine Is...

I'm shocked and dazed at the news that the legendary David Bowie passed away yesterday. He had been fighting cancer for the last 18 months...Some of the greatest music of my life time, mostly during my teen years, was all Bowie. Bowie broke some of the craziest rules and boundaries in rock and roll. I remember the first time I saw him doing Ziggy Stardust. The flaming red spiky hair, the eyeliner, the glitter, we all thought he was a nutcase, lol! But the music was amazing. Back in the eighties, in the beginning years of MTV, his number one hits included "Fame," my personal favorite, "Let's Dance,""Blue Jean," "Heroes..." "Fame" was a bit earlier, but just as awesome.Bowie, por Bryan Duffy, 1973 I went to see Bowie during the Glass Spider tour, and it was absolutely the most incredible c...

Tips For a Stellar 2016 Want 2016 to be AWESOME???  Follow these tips, you'll be well on your way! 1. Live everyday with an attitude of gratitude. Every day, be thankful for another beautiful day. Whether it's raining, snowing, or completely sunny, you know the old saying: Every day above ground, no matter how bad a day, is still a good day. 2. You create your perception of life. If you see lack, loss, fear, that's what you'll get. If you stay positive, look for the good in life, you'll appreciate so much more in life and enjoy it. 3. Happiness is a conscious choice. Every day, you need to choose to be happy. Why? You create how you feel. When you feel miserable, or angry, you choose to feel that way, it's a conscious choice. Choose happiness. 4. Surround yourself with positive people. ...

So, you've found the perfect house. You think. But you're just not sure...   So you go out with an agent to look at more houses, but none compare to THE house. So then you're thinking well, it's been a while, maybe they'll drop the price on the house, let's wait another week.   A week goes by, the price doesn't drop and you decide to make your move. You go to call the agent to say, "Okay, we're READY!  Let's DO THIS!!!"   Your agent calls you back, only to tell you that the house is under contract, but not with you. Its under contract with another buyer.   We've all been there. As a buyer, it bites.  As an agent, it really bites!  What's the comeback for that?                                                     If you liked it then you should have put a bid on it!   As a buyer, you 2nd,...

So the old saying goes that dogs are a man's best friend. Well, they may be, but not if you're looking to rent a place to live. In the age of foreclosures and short sales, this has become a prevalent problem. When people call looking for rentals, they will answer every question that you ask them, and then when you say ask do you have a pet, they tap dance around the topic...  Then the conversation goes like this:    "Well, I have a dog."     I ask, "What kind of dog."    "It's a mix."   "Well, what kind of mix?"    "If I knew what kind of a mix it was, I guess I'd be able to tell you."   To which is them to text me a picture. (Yes, I am an insane lover of dogs, and I can probably tell you what breed it is) At this point, they start to squirm. One actually said, "I have a terrier."  T...

It's a Universal Language :0)   So I got to go to see my 8 year old's Holiday Concert yesterday, 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders.  Things have changed a lot since we were in school.  Going to Catholic school, everything was Christmas.  Art, music, decorations, EVERYTHING.   Fast forward to today.  My boy was practicing songs at home that I had never heard, or heard of.  I was asking him what he was singing, and he proceeded to explain what each song was, and which religion it was associated with.  I gotta tell you, he knows WAAAAAYYYY more than I ever did, lol!   The GREATEST thing about kids is that they all believe (unless raised otherwise) that we're all the same.  We're just, well, PEOPLE.  I have raised my son that way.  Belly buttons, tongues, boo boos, we're all the same.  The range of ...
