For those who know me, they know how fussy I am about everything, I mean everything!  This extends to all areas and today I'm referring to restaurants and food.  One of my friends jokes with me and says that there are probably only 3 or 4 restaurants in all of New Jersey that I will even go to for a meal.  Maybe this is true, I don't know.  What I do know is that we can add a new one to the list - Sirin, located in Morristown NJ.I am usually not a big Thai food person, but thought I'd give this a try with a freind who was in town from California.  It was great!!!  The food was excellent, the atmosphere is cozy and charming and you can bring your own bottle of wine.  Give it a try if you get a chance.  Morristown has lots of great places to eat along with the other towns aong the Mid-tow...

Most people wait until after the holidays to list or relist their homes.  I just took a look at the listing and sale activity for Morristown and Morris Township NJ and here is what I found.  Since January 2, 2008 a total of 137 homes in Morris Township and Morristown NJ were listed on the Garden State MLS.  As of today, February 14th 1 has sold, 22 are under contract and 6 are in attorney review.  I'd say we're off to a good start.  Top Morristown NJ Real Estate Expert, Direct 973-214-5872

Attention New Jersey Voters, Political Rant Coming Right At You!!New Jersey on Sunday became the second state to enter a compact that would eliminate the Electoral College's power to choose a president if enough states endorse the idea.Governor Jon Corzine has signed legislation that approves delivering the state's 15 electoral votes to the winner of the national popular vote. The Assembly approved the bill last month and the Senate followed suit earlier this month. What does this mean for New Jersey's presidential vote?  It means that it really does not matter who wins the state wide vote, if the national vote winner is from the other party, the presidential candidate who lost New Jersey's vote wins New Jerseys vote.  Have you every heard of such a socialist, anti democratic, anti votin...

Warning GREAT NJ REAL ESTATE DEAL ALLERT!! Well, 2007 is done and gone and it really was not that bad of a year for Convent Station Real Estate.  For home sellers who over priced their homes 2007 seemed really bad, but for the home sellers who priced their homes right and hired a good REALTOR who could market their home on the Internet really well 2007 was not too bad. 2008 looks to be another year like 2007 so if you are thinking about selling be sure to interview a Morris Township REALTOR who is a savvy Internet marketer and you will get your home sold faster and for more money. If you are a home buyer, give me James Boyer REALTOR Morris County, a call I can find you some really great deals on homes.James Boyer REALTOR, Is a proud member of the Convent Station community in Morris Towns...

Once again the Morristown town council is once again trying to give Mayor Donald Cresitello a pay raise.  The council has started a new petition in which 5 percent of Morristown's registered voters needed to sign the petition in order for the question to be placed on the ballot. Many feel that the $6000 a year pay increase for a part-time mayor in a town which claims to be cash strapped is out of line.  $6000 would amount to a 23% pay increase as compared to the Morristown public employees who have been getting 3% raises each year.Much of Morristown's budget comes from property taxes which are trending to be about 40% higher than surrounding Morris Township property taxes.  The pay raise being sought for the Morristown Mayor is important because once it passes the Morristown council will...

Morristown NJ Real Estate Ths is clearly a maket where the buyer has more control and can negotiate on the home.  I believe sellers are pricing their Morristown homes in accordance.  I try to submit something that is fair and not insulting to the seller.  I'd like to pose a question.Assuming the home is not new on the market, so there probably won't be a bidding war. What % of the list price do you think is a good starting point for an offer on a home in Morristown NJ?Susan Zanzonico, Keller Williams Realtor - Morristown NJ Real Estate, Also specializing in Harding NJ Real Estate @ 973-214-5872 or Email: szanzonico@optonline.net

Morristown NJ Real Estate  There are alot of homes on foreclosure now and buyers are hoping to get a deal.  Maybe you can...just be careful.  Be sure to do your homework on how much money you may need to invest in a neglected property to bring it up to speed.  Have a professional take a look at the property and give  you an estimate...tell them to pad it...worst case scenario.  Then I would say, search your heart and soul to see if you have it in you for the long haul on this propery for the renovations involved.  Its not for everyone, but it can be profitable...just evaluate the situation completely so know what you are getting into!!Call Susan Zanzonico on 973-214-5872 for all your Morristown NJ Real Estate needs, I also specialize in Harding NJ Real Estate and towns along the Mid-Tow...
