" The Franklin Municipal Building was completely restored in 1997-1999. The building was originally built in 1929 for the Sussex County Trust Co. The interior now consists of two floors of modern offices. Franklin Borough received the New Jersey Planning Officials "Achievement in Planning Award" on April 27, 2001 for a rehabilitation project that impacts and improves the standards of a neighborhood.
