Agent of the Month   Congratulations to Joe Piizzi-AGENT OF THE MONTHI am happy to report that Joe Piizzi is the agent of the month of March 2009. Joe is by far the hardest working Realtor I have known in my 13+ years in the business. In a time of crisis like we are in right now, a hard working agent can breath life into an office by himself, that is what Joe is doing. Joe has put the office on his back and carrying them to the finish line. Joe makes hundreds of calls everyday to past and present clients, strangers, and anyone that will listen. Joe knows that is the name of the game. Nothing worth having ever comes easy, and this Real Estate market is no different. Joe is a model of the perfect Realtor and we feel fortunate to have him as a member of our company. Congrats to Joe on his ...

We Must Get Ratings!!!!!!That is the way I see our media outlets, we must get ratings at all costs. I would have to be a moron to say the economy is not down. We all have seen the latest unemployment rate over 8%, we know that in the last year over 4 million jobs have been lost....and we know ONE more VERY important thing.......THINGS WILL GET BETTER!!!!!! Whether you voted for our president or not, as an American, you must have blind faith and trust the people in charge of our country. We have to have faith that they have the country's best interests in mind with every decision they make. The media wants to shock us with sensationalism and big bold headlines that make us watch their channel just to be more depressed by the DOOM and GLOOM they spew. We don't need the media to tell us th...

You are probably saying..."Is this guy nuts?"  but hear me out. You do not really ever have to be seen or thought of as a new if you prepare and do not think of your self as new.  You must find ways to make the most of some things you cannot change.  These are just a few steps you can take to make sure you are NEVER NEW. First, don't ever be new mentally or physically.  By that I mean sound, look, and act like you have been there before.  Dress and speak to match your demographic, look the part is sales 101. Practice in office with role plays 25 times before doing anything live. Ask your broker to role play with you, if he/she will not call me and I will role play with you over the phone.  Second, you do not have to be in the business a long time to know your market, know technology, an...

10 Tips for First-Time Homebuyers:1. Be picky, but don't be unrealistic. There is no perfect home. 2. Do your homework before you start looking. Decide specifically what features you want in a home and which are most important to you.3. Get your finances in order. Review your credit report and be sure you have enough money to cover your down payment and your closing costs4. Don't wait to get a loan. Talk to a lender and get pre-qualified for a mortgage before you start looking. 5. Don't ask too many people for opinions. It will drive you crazy. Select one or two people to turn to if you feel you need a second opinion.6. Decide when you could move. When is your lease up? Are you allowed to sublet? How tight is the rental market in your area?7. Think long-term. Are you looking for a start...

If you are going to do it, do it RIGHT!by JR SangiulianoAfter 11 years as a full-time sale associate for CENTURY 21 JRS Realty I have come across many ways of buying Real Estate in New Jersey. We have had everyone from no money down customers to buyers that bought the videos on how to buy Real Estate that put you on the fast track the the court house. There is only one right way to buy Real Estate and that is the way we teach buyers in our seminars. We hold seminars for home buyers to show them the right way because so many Realtors do not take the time to teach them.Step 1: Get Pre-Approved for a loan. Buyers need to know what the payments will be and if they are comfortable with investing that amount every month. Also, you may be spending time looking at homes above or below your rang...

They don't care how much you know until they know how much you care! by JR SangiulianoTo many Realtors lack vision and purpose beyond just making money. As Realtors we provide a valuable service. If a Realtor does not value his service the service will not be presented as valuable. As Realtors we help people realize what is still the American Dream, home ownership. Immigrants still come to this country and live in relative poverty saving money to someday be able to own a home. Realtors need to have a vision, and that vision starts with what you have a passion for. If your passion is supplying people with the American dream you will have a great career. That passion will guild your every move and all your activities and interactions with the public. But, if your passion is for the dollar...
