This is my second Pumpkin post - the first contained no pictures.  Here you go - more on the record with pictures.....  Man thats gonna make a lot of pie!In 1984 sixteen pumpkin growers from Massachusetts and Connecticut entered their pumpkins in the first Topsfield Fair Giant Pumpkin Contest. The winning pumpkin weighed in at 433 pounds. In 2006 there were over ninety entries from all over New England. The winner, grown by Ron Wallace of Rhode Island weighed in at 1,347.5 pounds. Guinness Book of World Records 2006 largest pumpkin 1,502 lbs.Topsfield Fair - TOpsfield, MA 2007 - Bill Rodonois of Litchfield, N.H.
