Does that Home have a Buried Fuel Tank anywhere on the Property, and folks do you need to know about if there is one? Folks you sure do need to know!         Folks the fly in the buttermilk is as a Home Buyer you sure will want and need to know if there are any buried Propane, Fuel Oil, or any other kind of Fuel kind of Tanks on the top or under the property which you are looking at to buy. There sure has not been a Fuel Tank made as of yet which is perfect. All of them will rust through at some point in time. Unless they have been coated with an epoxy or a similar material.     The typical life expectancy of a Fuel Tank is around 30 years. There is not a test for below-ground Fuel Thank. Radon the Unseen Invasion Home Buyer does that Home have Radon Lurken, Radon Testing is a subject I'm contacted by folks a lot for my thoughts on. Folks if you are in the market to buy a home, you sure do want to find out if the home you will be living in does not have a Radon Unseen Invasion going on inside or out.         If the home you have pick to be the one, has not been tested for Radon (folks you will want to see actual donation and not just go by someone saying it has). If there has not been, then be sure to have a Radon test conducted of the home.     Folks you really should consider having a provision included in your contract specifying that you want to have a Radon Test done. Home Remodeling Small Siding Checklist for Home Owners New Hampshire, I have had folks contact me asking questions that have to do with home siding. This post is to help with a few right to the point items.         1. Don't install board siding on a diagonal.                       2. For horizontal board siding, use top-grade boards with no knots, splits, or other defects. Install T&G and shiplap siding so that the joints between boards drain away from the sheathing.     3. For panel siding  you sure should use House Wrap over the studs. House Wrap should also overlap Z-flashing at the joint between panel courses.     4.
