Brentwood NH Real Estate Market Activity August 2010 We are looking at homes sold data for the last four years verses the last twelve months to determine where the Brentwood NH Real Estate market is headed. In 2006, 42 homes sold and spent an average of 123 days on the market. 2007 saw a 21% jump in the number of homes sold and the average days on market bumped up 31% to 161 days. 2008 brought us another increase of 8% in the number of homes sold at 55 and they spent an average of 5.5% less time on the market at 150 days. Brentwood, NH celebrated their annual TRICK OR TREAT last evening, Oct 30th from 5pm to 7pm. There were all kinds of strange happenings in the neighborhood of Windy Brook Farms Subdivision as well as some traditions started back in 2003 when the area was being developed. Each door had a Ghost posted indicating that the homes in the subdivision had been "BOOed" during the weeks preceeding. Monday I drove out of my garage and saw a gorgeous sight, my crocuses. There are more than last year (I love how bulbs multiply) and the daffodils are beginning to emerge as well. Spring has always been my favorite season, maybe because I am a spring baby or more so because I HATE winter. I don't like to be cold (my brother in law teases me and says I would be cold if I was sitting on the sun). Brentwood NH has seen an upswing in real estate activity during January 1 to March 31, 2008! This period saw 13 single family and condos sold over selling only 9 in 2007! That's a 44% increase in total units sold. Now there is a good piece of news. The average days on market also dropped dramatically from 166 to 114. That tells us that homes are selling 52 days or almost 2 months faster in 2008. The average sale price has remained relatively constant - it is currently $336,736. Brentwood NH was originally a parish of Exeter NH. In 1742 they petitioned Governor Benning Wentworth to be able to have their own meetinghouse and minister paid for by public funds.
