The College World Series has been played in Omaha for over 50 years with many games being played at the Rosenblat Stadium. The CWS and baseball in general are steeped in tradition. So it is no surprise that, with Omaha working on details for a new ballpark and the NCAA giving it's blessing, some Omaha residents and college baseball fans are fighting to keep the series at Rosenblat.I am not sure, however, that there is much chance of stopping the construction of a new ball park after hearing Mike Fahey's comment, "In my mind, we are moving down town". Omaha, Nebraska      Contributed by David Matney with Alliance Real EstateIf you live near Lakeside Hills (168th and Center) there is a great spot to take the kids fishing.  It is nestled right in the heart of Lakeside Hills Shopping Area and is within walking distance of several nearby subdivisions.  It is nice place to take the kids because there is a nice fishing dock/picnic area that is fenced and very kid friendly.  The fish (mostly sunfish and bluegill) are extremely easy to catch and bite on corn, worms and we have even caught some on hot dogs.  My older son can easily have a fish on the line before my other son has his line in the water.  My role is basicly to serve as a "deck hand" baiting lines and unhooking fish.  There is a nearby park with plenty of walking trails, ducks to... 09/16/2007
