 Latest news on the Matthews (28105 zip code) real estate market in September 2021 and what it means for you...  Matthews housing market continues to see extremely low inventory with the months supply of inventory very thin at 0.7 months (down 50% year-over-year from 1.4 months in September 2020 and down from 2.2 months in September 2019). The months supply is also down 0.1 month versus August 2021. However you "slice it," Matthews has been a home seller's market for at least three years now. Inventory of homes was down 49% year-over-year. New home listings decreased 31.6% year-over-year.  Average sale prices of homes increased 19.3% year-over-year to $431,752. Latest news on the Ballantyne real estate market in September 2021 and what it means for you... Ballantyne remained a seller's market in September 2021 resulting from the continued lack of inventory, which dropped 46.7% year-over-year. Months supply of inventory was down 45.5% compared with September 2020 to 0.6 months of housing supply. The drop in housing inventory year-over-year resulted in 24 fewer days on market, on average. Closed and pending sales decreased year-over-year due to lack of inventory. Average Ballantyne home sale prices increased 10.5% to $500,670 in September 2021 compared with the same month one year ago. I had some weeds in my back yard and I was going to cut them down.  I was going to cut them down because they looked ugly but I thought to myself, why not give these weeds a chance to prove themself to me and so, I did. Gas or Electric?Which dryer is quicker to dry clothes?I have both but want to see, what you think the answer is.Also, some helpful tips about your dryer that many may not know and might want to be aware of.I see so many homes as I inspect for Mold or perform Mold Inspections.  I see so many issues with dryers that are not properly cleaned out.  The duct from the dryer to the outside of the house, is many times plugged up.  This creates more humidity on the inside of the house if the duct or line from the dryer or dryers is not maintained and cleaned.  This is very important and this can also create a fire hazard if this is not done on a regular basis.  After every drying, do not forget to clean out the lint trap.  If you do not clean the lint trap, yo...

So, what is a Himalayan Salt Lamp?Well, it is a lamp that is inside a block of salt.  The heat from the light creates, what it does to the air.  What does the salt lamp create?  The salt lamp creates negative ions, that create indoor air particles to clump together and fall to the floor of the home. Who likes 🥓 Bacon?Who does not like Bacon?  How do you like your Bacon, cooked?I cooked this bacon on a rack and put it in the oven for preparation.  The bacon was yummy and it did real well in my tummy.  Wink. As some of you know, or might not know, I just love to cook and create new dishes as well as try new cooking procedures and techniques.In the above photo, I have 2 sets of bacon that I put on a rack and put in the oven for about 45 minutes. I also cooked red potatos with it and it turned out very crispy and very good.  It made some wonderful bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwiches.
