I have just sent an email out to my listing because we have the Fall Tab that will be printed in the next 3 weeks. This Tab has a shelf life of about 3 months and will be in the resturants, grocery stores, novely stores etc.  So we get right much Bang for our Bucks on this one. I have learned through past experience, these 2 truths. 1.  If you have a property listed for sale and you have showings but NO offers, the your property is 5% over priced! 2.  If you have a property listed for sale and you have NO showings, then your property is 10% over priced! This keeps holding true, on and on and on until you get to the price that the property will sell for.  The buyer dictates the Market.  Do you have a guide of some sort like this in your marketplace? AS a result of the email I sent out t... 08/15/2015

Well to be in the South these days does not mean, mint julips on the veranda with warm balmy days.   \\It is cold.  We are just not used to this kind of weather.    Our Dock becons me but I can't get enough coats and scarves  on to go out and enjoy the sunset.   So I will just view from the warmth of the fireplace, inside...   Hope all is well with you.  Market is showing some signs of activity.    Finally!  Hope that is for you too.   My plan for 2015 is to pull out all the stops and do the best that I possibly can   Ginger of Southport   12/30/2014

             A great day today.  I had a listing appointment yesterday morning and another one yesteday afternoon.  Took one for sure and think that I will get the next one in a day or so..  And guess what!  Got another one this afternoon and another one on Thursday. Seems like our sellers are wanted to do the right thing and price their property as it should be priced. Under the Dome...Stephen King     Under the Dome is being filmed in our precious town of Southport NC.   This picture was in last nights final episode for this season. It is in our Church, Trinity Methodist Church. I see many of my friends and neighbors in this picture.  It has been an exciting time in our little fishing village of Southport.  We have had many movies filmed her but Under the Dome..has been a long time in shooting. I am finding that there are less and less REO's and BPO's being offered in my area.  And when they are offered, they are offering a small fee to do the work.  If we accepted these fees, I would be losing money. I think I need to make contact with some other ones to see what is out there. Do you have any suggestions?  The market is picking up here locally and maybe it is time to let the BPO'S and REO's go..   What do you think?         08/17/2013

Re-blogged by 0 agents How do you insert a picture into the body of your blog.  I had a wonderful experience with the Grandchildren digging sweet potatoes this past Sunday and it was so good that I just wanted to share it with my Active Rain friends.  They got dirty and sweaty but had a glorious time tugging at the vines and bringing up large beautiful sweet potatoes.   These sweet potatoes we will serve to the family that comes to be with us at Thankgiving.  There will be about 25 of us and each of the precious littles ones can tell of their experience of digging the sweet potatoes.   Help if you can  to learn how to insert photos..   Have a great day.   Ginger of Southport 10/01/2012
