We are faced with a difficult situation in our family.  We are trying to be understand but are finding it hard to realize the ramification of the actions that have been taken place.  WE have small children that are involved and we love these precious ones.If you have felt the pain that we are feeling now, please share with us how you get thru this. Thanks,Ginger 03/30/2016

 Today we had rain again.  Luckily we planted our seeds this past weekend and then the rain came. We had laid the garden out for the butter beans, sweet potatoes, squash, tomatoes, and cucumbers.   Then as an added bonus, Jimmy put in giant sunflowers to brighten the garden.We will  enjoy fresh cucumbers and tomatoes for the 4th of July.With you were here.Ginger of Southport 06/09/2015

I have been fortunate enough to work face to face with sellers today.  I had listed one of their lots and they were going to take it off the market.  I did some research for them and suggested that they leave that lot on the market...because it can't sell if no one knows it is for sale..They then asked to see if I would list one of their other lots.  They are excited to sell and we priced it at the lowest price in the community.There is stuff happening... 04/22/2015

  Many times during the year, we have a sailing regatta that starts in the Cape Fear River and goes out in to the Atlantic Ocean.  This is all done to to enjoyment of many folks that watch from the shores along the Waterfront Park in Southport North Carolina. Many of the Boats have very colorful sails that show so colorfully against a light blue sky.  This is such an awesome view for us on shore. During these regattas, the village of Southport opens its doors for folks to come and sample the  generosity of the little shops that line the streets.  Very enjoyable days to be had by all. 09/17/2013

Re-blogged by 0 agents       HOA seem to have too much power.. Have you ever heard of a condo association foreclosing on a condo and then buying it with dues of the owners? We are having something like that going on here and I do not know who to go to for help.  I can't help but think that this is wrong.  Have rules changed....if they have, I feel that human decency has eluded us. I have great concern for the folks that lost their unit even though they were trying to work out a payment schedule with the association.   I am doubting the legality of this..   Do you have any suggestions?       08/19/2013
