  One of the biggest things that we are faced with still in our area, is the dreams of what was going on in 2004 and  2005.  That day is gone. What we have to do as a Realtor and as a professional is to educate our buyers as to TODAY'S Market.  We all sold properties in 2005 that we are having to sell for half of what they sold during the Good Ole Days! When I have a seller  to call me and say that they bought in 2005 and HAVE to SELL  right a way..I just cringe. Who knew?  This is a nationwide happening, not a local problem. We have to be honest with our sellers and give them the facts.  And hopefully we will be able to relieve some of their pain. I ask them to talk with their CPA or with an Attorney, but there are sometimes that they may need to just "walk away".  09/04/2017

  I always enjoy this time of the year and this year, we are going to have a lot of family around us to enjoy the fishing, swimming and cook outs. This is also a time that all of the family gets together to pick the grapes for the harvest and making of grape jelly and juices.. Always a fun time and we reap the benefits of the jelly all year long. Sure does take good on a cool November Morning on Biscuits with our Grape Jelly and Butte. Have a delightful Labor Day.! Ginger Of Southport   www.GingerHarper.com 09/01/2017

 Today we performed our Annual Christmas Cantata at Church.   "A Classic Carol Celebration" byTom Fettke & Thomas Grassi.    It was a fun concert to do and I think that most of our congregation enjoyed the music and the orchestra. I try to do most of our Sunday Dinner before I go to Church. Today we had: Nice Roast BeefRice and GravyButterbeansCorn from the gardenSweet potatoes from the gardenSweet TeaGerman Chocolate Cake/Crandberry Cake for dessert Our pastor came over to enjoy our meal with us.  After this wonderful meal, we just sat around the fireplace and talked.  Restful and comfortable. WE had a total of 9 for Dinner. These are the days we enjoy beyond all others,    12/11/2016

This is too good not to share.  At this time of year, many of us are running around trying to get the things done that we feel need to be done.
