Wildwood Green (Raleigh, NC)
By Dianne Goode, Realtor/Broker
(Raleigh Cary Realty)
As the name would imply, the community of Wildwood Green is built around a golf course.  Instead of pedestrian crossings, drivers are warned to be careful at designated golf cart crossings.  The golf course pre-dates the subdivision.  The homes were built in the late 80's to early 90's and sell mostly in the 3's and 4's, with some in the high 200's and some larger homes over $500,000.  Wildwood Green is an attractive neighborhood that offers community pool and tennis as well as golf.  Homes are well kept on wooded lots.  Wildwood Green lies  (barely) outside the city limits, so taxes are low; however, it has community water and septic rather than City of Raleigh utilities.  The coveted Leesville school district is a plus, as well as the convenient NW Raleigh location.
