Charlotte, NC; I have some clients that I really love and who are an inspiration to me. They live in  a beautiful house in Mint Hill, a small town just outside the Charlotte city limits.     He is 64 years old with an earring in both ears.   He is almost always dressed in sweat pants or shorts and an old shirt but I am sure he owns a nice shirt and slacks for emergencies, maybe even a suit.  He is an electrical engineer who lives and works with passion!  There is a generator that let's them live off the grid,  so to speak. His satelite dishes get international TV stations, a security camera watches the shop  and a tiny ATT unverse box runs the cable and the phones all  for less than $100 a month. Farmwood in Mint Hill NC—2010 Real Estate Market Update Farmwood is a large Mint Hill NC neighborhood that was built from the mid-1970s into the 1990s.  A variety of home styles and large wooded lots characterize the neighborhood.  The neighborhood wraps around Pine Lake County Club giving some lots golf course views.  There are no homeowners association dues in Farmwood. Farmwood is Mint Hill NC’s classic neighborhood.  Construction began in Farmwood in the mid-1970s and continued through the early 1990s.  Large wooded lots ranging from a half acre to over an acre on wide streets provide a beautiful setting for Farmwood homes.  The earliest Farmwood homes were mostly traditional brick ranches, two-stories and tri-levels.  Some were basement homes where the slope of the lots accommodated them.  As the years passed and home styles changed, country-style homes with big friendly front porches and wood siding were built.  The most recently built Farmwood homes tended to be large two-story colonials with transitional interiors....
