Just five years ago when Rob Bennett moved from Miami, FL to Lake Norman he had to show people pictures of paddleboarding to try and explain what exactly it was! Over 8,000 people have already taken lessons at Bennett’s ‘My Aloha Paddle & Surf Shop’ in Cornelius in the past five years. He also hosts annual competitions for charity that draws even bigger crowds – so far he has raised about $30,000 for local charities. Are you LOOKING FOR THE HOME OF YOUR DREAMS?  Do you have a HOME TO SELL?  The Temple Team can help you with all of your Real Estate Needs.  Give us a call at 704-235-3000 and visit our website at www.TheTempleTeam.com.* Excerpts taken from article published in Charlotte Stories

TWO NEW POTENTIAL HOTELS FOR LAKE NORMAN Cornelius and Davidson are becoming increasingly more popular, and the number of residents, tourists and events is growing. Thus, so is the need for hotel accommodations in the area, and it looks like two hotels are potentially opening in the greater Lake Norman area—one located on West Catawba Avenue between Mariner Cove Drive and Waterview in Cornelius, and one at the corner of Griffith Street and Davidsons Gateway Drive in Davidson. The potential Cornelius location would offer a lakefront hotel with 304 rooms, a two-story convention center and a full-service restaurant. Current plans for the hotel include 14 stories, however an option with closer to six stories may be an easier sell for nearby residents. Official documents have yet to be draft...
