We had such a great Sunday today.  Great Sermon....Great Music and a Great Lunch with Family.  Roast Beef, Whipped potatoes,corn, butterbeans, garden peas, gravy, rice, sweet tea and strawberry short cake for dessert. CAke is made by 1 cup of Sugar, 1 cup of self rising flour and 6 eggs..Beat by hand if you need to and serve with strawberries in sugar syrup and coolwhip... Well...This is the time of the year that the Grape Stomping takes place on Beaver Dam Creek in Southport, North Carolina. For the past 4 days, we have been picking muscadin grapes, I have been stomping them (with very clean feet)..We are finding that is the easiest way to crush them.  Then the processing begins. Have you ever heard of a condo association foreclosing on a condo and then buying it with dues of the owners? We are having something like that going on here and I do not know who to go to for help.  I can't help but think that this is wrong.  Have rules changed....if they have, I feel that human decency has eluded us. Today is such a glorious day.  Got to sleep in before I had to go and work with a seller.  This was a easy thing to do.  They want to sell their condo and sell it quick so we did a $100K reduction.  Don't think I have ever reduced a property $100.000 before.   We hope to have a buyer this week.  So Sunny Saturday has be good for me. Thank heavens! The sun came out today and it has been glorious. After taking the grandchildren to church with us, we came home to a barbeque pork dinner with the fixins'. We had the Barbeque ribs, buttered potatoes, sweet peas, corn, hard rolls, sweet potatoes and sweet tea.  No dessert today. (ON a diet) Then watched a Shirley Temple movie with the little ones.   Every Monday, we have a Boost Class that helps us to stay up to date with our market in Brunswick County, and what is selling and in which community. Out of an office on 50 folks, about ten of us show up each week. WE run through the stats from MLS. This is very helpful informatin that we need to know when dealing with real estate. Today we had a special program with a local lender, who discussed the financing of condos in the area. There are many guidelines that we must follow in order to get financing. I have a million dollar home on the market and have had it on the market for over 2 years.  WE need to get it sold and I do not know what to do next.  It has been advertised on the internet in numerous places.  It has been in brochures and magazines.  It has been in the newspapers.  I have had 5 or 6 open houses on it.  Still no buyer. Sunny Coast of Brunswick County NC.....but the temperature is 19 degrees.  We are just not used to this kind of cold weather.  It is hard to go out and show a house when you can not get our fingers to unlock the door of the house that you are showing.
