This is my PART 2 of my blog about outside plaques at the Boston Federal Building during my time at ActiveRain's Boston RainCamp.  Here's a link to my PART 1:   http://activerain.com/blogsview/1851194/profiles-of-justice-from-the-american-legal-system-part-1   I believe we should all think about these plaques and their meanings, since sometimes we have to review what they mean and help others remember what their original thoughts might have been.  Of the 9 plagues the next 5 are my interpretations! The 5th plaque stated:  “OUR GOVERNMENT IS THE POTENT, THE OMNIPRESENT TEACHER.  FOR GOOD OR FOR ILL, IT TEACHES THE WHOLE PEOPLE BY ITS EXAMPLE. – Louis D. Brandeis, 1928.” This means our government should set the example to the people.  This is done when government can correct the injustice...

My life right now is in between being an American that is going for her Canadian Citizenship and waiting patiently for the Halifax office to acknowledge our paperwork with $$$ sent in January 2010.  I was born in New York City many decades ago! Today, thinking about the 9th anniversary after 9-11 and only 11 days before this American-Canadian moves to Beijing, China for 9 months.  I remembered going to Boston for ActiveRain's Boston RainCamp this past July 2010 and taking photos of the Boston Federal Court Building outside, since they wouldn’t let me inside unless I had business there!  I took photos of plaques outside the building that I really thought made me think about what being an American-Canadian really means.  I’ve written this in two parts, since I want to discuss those 9 quot...

This is a photo of a sunset I took today, here on Hwy 7, in Grand Bay-Westfield, NB.  I didn't realize the mushroom cloud above it, until I downloaded the photo to my MacBook.  ENJOY!

The market in Sussex New Brunswick is still strong and looks like its going to stay a sellers market for awhile.  The potash mine will start sinking their new shaft in July which means 100's of new jobs and new families coming to the area.  Inventory in town and the surrounding areas are starting to get picked over and we are in dire need of new listings.

Sussex, New Brunswick, Canada The Town of Sussex bills itself as the "Heart Of Kings County and Gateway To The Fundy Experience". Sussex is the home of Dairytown Products Ltd., "In the heart of the dairy country". Just outside of the town, the Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan is a major employer in a local potash mine. This year it announced plans for a new 2-million-tonne potash mine and expanded milling operations.  The four-year construction project having an estimated cost of $1.6 billion will begin once necessary regulatory approvals are obtained. The Sussex Mural Project is a unique local initiative. Only a short distance from Sussex is Eastern New Brunswick's only ski hill, Poley Mountain, which also attracts customers from Moncton and Saint John, each less than an hour's driv...

The town of Rothesay is home to some of the most beautiful homes in Southern New Brunswick. Tucked away in the river valley, many homes are on the water or have water view scenery looking over to the Kingston Peninsula. Along with the great view comes the pleasures of living in a largely non-industrial area.Rothesay and Quispamsis have all the amenities you need, and is located minutes away from uptown Saint John. For more information on the Rothesay area please visit there website here or drop me an e-mail at luther@lutherharrity.ca for any questions you may have. **Interesting Fact**In 1927 the Variable Pitch Propeller was invented in Rothesay New Brunswick by a pioneer in Canadian aviation - Wallace Turnbull.
