Ahh the Mullan Road area, the fastest growing area of town and the place I call home.  Of course our main attraction out here is "North Reserve" which is full of the typical big-box commercial stores you'd find in towns all across the US.  This area features a school that is bursting at the seams, I've got a daughter in kindergarten there and there are 8 total kindergarten classes this year.  This area features a predominant mix of medium sized planned neighborhoods. I've also lumped together the larger neighborhoods one finds out Expressway which is north of Broadway and out by the airport, those two main areas, Canyon Creek and Windsor Park feature many of the traits you'll find in other Mullan Road neighborhoods like Pleasant Views and 44 Ranch. 2012 numbers show another strong year,... 01/27/2013

The western side of town that encompasses the dreaded "North Reserve" commercial area is the part of town that has been experiencing the most growth that I've seen over the last decade.  This area features many large-scale higher density neighborhoods with homes on lot sizes that range from 3,000 to 7,000 square feet.  As Mullan Road heads further west the area opens up into many larger home neighborhoods with houses on 1 or more acres as well.   In 2010 there were 174 residential properties sold in this area, largely driven by the 1st time home buyers tax credit, and the median sales price was $192,000.  The average time on market was a little longer at 142, but that's largely due to a lot of new construction being sold which will expand days on market of a listing.  The median listing... 01/05/2012
