We just got home from spending all day at the seminar The Constitution In The Tradition Of The Founding Fathers  in Branson MO. It was awesome! At first we thought "Do we want to give up our whole Saturday for this?" We did and we are so glad because we learned so much about the Constitution and how our Federal Government has gone far astray from where our Founding Fathers intended. There was so much information it was like drinking from a fire-hose! Its unbelievable what is going on in Washington. The main speaker was Earl Taylor Jr. from The National Center For Constitutional Studies. The seminar was a reasonable price and included lunch, workbook, and the book "The 5000 Year Leap". Saturday was the all glider fun fly at the Ozark Mountain Barnstormers RC Airplane Club Springfield MO. The event was a lot of fun and it went quite well. There were 8 pilots and around that many observers. The contest was a  3-5-7. That's were everyone tries for a 3 minute flight 60 points per minute or 180 points max for a 3 minute flight etc. Believe it or not we were finding some thermals. It was nice to get one with wittnesses! Harold Fox won by a two minute margin because he got a nice thermal in the 5 minute round. I work with a lot of buyers from out of state.  A large percentage of them ask for a home with a walkout basement.  It is obvious that many of these buyers do not need the basement for the space.  They are wanting shelter from tornados. I recently worked with some buyers who had a basement home as their #1 criteria.  Several months into the process, it was obvious that the only homes we were going to find that fit all of their other criteria were not going to have basements.  We finally found one home that both husband and wife loved.  The only problem...it didn't have a basement.  The husband finally asked me:  "Aren't you worried about tornadoes?"  My response:  "Not really.  I suppose I'm used to them." Our Springfield MLS system recently added two catagories - Bank/REO's and Pending Short Sales.  The number of bank foreclosures may not be a true figure - many current listings are not being reported correctly.
