A piece of artwork St Louis is very fortunate to display (and one of my favorites) is the Animals Always Sculpture at the St Louis Zoo, located at the entrance of Forest Park and Hampton Ave.It's hard to miss, as it is 130 feet long, 36 feet tall, and 100 tons of rusted steel.  It is the largest sculpture at any public zoo in the United States.  Throughout the sculpture, there are 60 different animals amongst plants and trees, representing the many animals that are featured in the zoo.The artist, Albert Paley, a metal sculptor, has been active as an artist for over 30 years, and this is one of his most complex works.For more information on this amazing sculpture, please visit: http://www.stlzoo.org/home/featurednews/animalsalwayssculpture.htmI've also created a virtual media presentatio... 08/30/2007

The Skinker DeBaliviere Neighborhood is a beautiful neighborhood with tree-lined streets and brick residences located in the west end of the City of St. Louis. It is bounded by the city limits on the west, Delmar Boulevard on the north, DeBaliviere Avenue on the east, and Lindell Boulevard on the south. The neighborhood is within walking distance of Washington University, Forest Park, the University City Loop and two MetroLink stations. The neighborhoods within Skinker DeBaliviere include Kingsbury Square, Nina Place, Parkview, Rosedale and Washington Heights. The annual events are the Breakfast Garden Tour, Wintermarket, and National Night Out.This is one of the most liveable and vital neighborhoods in St. Louis city in part because of it's residents and institutions. 08/29/2007
