If you are considering buying a foreclosure, there are some things to consider besides the price.  Is the foreclosure in a flooded area?  What about an area with heavy rainfall? Usually, foreclosed homes have their power shut off.  Not only does that mean that the lights will not work, the sump pump (assuming the home has one) will not be working either.
