O'Fallon MO The Bald Eagles are Back in the Area... I have always been fascinated by the bald eagle and for the past fifteen years I have been able to see them every year when they return to our area.  There are several areas that we can go to and one of them is just a short drive from O Fallon MO up Hwy. 79 along the Missouri River to the small town of Clarksville MO.  There you can view them nesting in the trees along the Missouri River and fishing all day long.  They are such a sight to see and if you have never seen them this is a great time to take a day trip to Clarksville MO and check them out.  They are a beautiful sight to see and by the way don't forget to bring your camera to capture the moment.

Homebuyers in O'Fallon Mo need to do a self evaluation......... And in this self evaluation they should look at themselves through a mortgage lender's eyes. I'm so thankful that gas prices are still down.  In O'Fallon, Missouri the gas prices are down to $1.39/gallon!  Isn't that great? I'm not sure, but I think we have one of the lowest gas prices around.  I think that Branson, Missouri may be lower, but we're still very low! There will be a seminar held at O'Fallon Municipal Centre (City Hall) in the Multipurpose Room at 3pm on April 14, 2009.  This meeting will cover O'Fallons Community Development Block Grant Program and who will be eligible for up to $5,000.  So mark your calendars now so you will not forget. I don't know about other areas, but in my area (around O'Fallon, Missouri) I'm starting to see a lot of investors putting offers on homes. I think it's great!  Many homes out there are priced really well, and the interest rates are still low - and I hear that they may be going lower... O'Fallon Missouri is named one of America's safest cities The city of O'Fallon was named the 3rd safest city in America according to CQ Press's annual report, entitled City Crime Rankings 2008 - 2009.  This is the first year that O'Fallon has been eligible to be included in these rankings due to our population in previous years. The crime rate rankings of cities and metropolitan areas, with populations 75,000 or more, are calculated using six categories: murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assult, burglary and motor vehicle theft. So, Is value important to you? We in the Midwest have very conservative roots and move a little slower that the other areas around the country.  For that reason we have not been hit as hard as the rest of the country when it comes to our housing prices falling as quickly as most.  O'Fallon MO as well as the rest of St Charles County MO still have some really great values in homes throughout all of the county. I don't get it.  The oil prices are still going down, but gas prices jumped up 10 cents overnight in O'Fallon, Missouri. Why?
