Hi Folks, Scott Parman, your Buyer Specialist.  If you're a veteran or active duty service member and planning on buying a home in Liberty, Missouri, don't forget that you may qualify for 100% financing through a VA Home loan.   I purchased my family's first home with my VA home loan benefit while I was still active duty military.  It's a great benefit to our veterans and active duty military. Remember, a VA loan is 100% financing so no down payment is needed.  You still must have the minimum credit score to qualify, but there is help available for that if necessary.  With your VA loan, you won't pay monthly PMI.  So, you can purchase more home for your family without the additional expense of PMI. Just a quick reminder, if you do plan on pursuing a VA loan, you'll need to prove to a mo...

The loan offers 100% financing.  If any real estate agents out there have a client who is a current or former soldier, encourage them to look into a VA loan. If they're not sure how to get started, here are some tips on your Liberty Missouri VA Loan Eligibility requirements:  1. Obtain a certificate of eligibility (COE) for a VA Loan (or a DD214)  Each applicant must show proof that they are either current or retired military. A veteran can request the certificate themselves, or...

Sometimes snow is a welcome break for a busy Realtor in Kansas City. Mother Nature dropped 13" of snow on us last Thursday, then just as we were digging out, she dropped another 9" on us yesterday! Overnight we got another 2" so needless to say: WE AREN'T SHOWING HOUSES TODAY!! So, the kids are home and my arsty side is itching so we headed outside for an ELEPHA-good time (ha ha... that's snow sculpting humor).  I hope these bring a smile to your face if you are digging out of snow like we are, or even if you're working in 70 degree temps.    REMEMBER TO TAKE A MOMENT AND HAVE SOME FUN!! (You can't buy memories when you're older!)

These tips should help you until that kid gets home from school to help: 1) What's in a Name?Naming a file is SO IMPORTANT! Do you know how SMART those Google robots are that crawl our sites? Get in the habit of naming your images more than just IMG2334.jpg because that means NOTHING to a bot.
