This Saturday from 1 - 4 pm, you can come in the Kauffman Center to look around this architectural wonder. 1801 Broadway, Kansas City, MO 64108 Helzberg Hall, with 1,600 seats, will be the new home of the Kansas City Symphony. A custom-designed, Casavant Frêres Pipe Organ stands 4 stories tall behind the Alaskan cedar stage. Helzberg Hall gleams with wood. The acoustics will be awesome! The Muriel Kauffeman Theatre, with 1,800 seats, will be the new home of the Lyric Opera and the Kansas City Ballet. No seat in the Muriel Kauffman Theatre wil be more than 100 feet from the stage.
