Sauk Rapids Rice Public Schools Independent School District 47 There have been a lot of changes to the Sauk Rapids Rice School District over the last few years. Most of the changes had to occur as the population of the City of Sauk Rapids grew by over 50% between 1990 and 2004. The biggest of these changes was the addition of a brand new high School building which opened in the fall of 2003.
