You're brushing your teeth and you turn on the faucet. It's not draining and starts to back up. Here's the dilemma; do you spit and let it sit or run to the kitchen? One thing is for sure; having a clogged drain can be a major annoyance. Clogs not only frustrate a homeowner but they can be hard on your plumbing. The added pressure they create puts stress on your pipes and can shorten their lifespan. So end the issue by following the guidelines below. You'll learn how to prevent clogging and clear the ones you already have. No Food Down The Drain: Even if you have a disposal, it's not good for your pipes to have sticky, mushy food shoved through them. Peel vegetables and scrape plates into the trashcan. Also, avoid pouring grease down the drain. Animal fat can congeal into a solid and fo...

The housing market's bottom is 9 months behind us. Home values continue to climb nationwide. According to the Federal Home Finance Agency's Home Price Index, home values rose 0.8% in May on a monthly, seasonally-adjusted basis. May's reading marks the sixth time in seven months that home values rose. Values are now higher by 4 percent since the market's October 2011 bottom. As a Maple Grove/Plymouth home buyer or seller, though, it's important to understand what the Home Price Index measures. Or, more specifically, what the Home Price Index doesn't measure. Although widely-cited, the HPI remains widely-flawed, too. It should not be your sole source for real estate data. As one example of how the Home Price Index is flawed, consider that the HPI only tracks the values of homes with an as...

Located in the heart of Maple Grove The Bridges at Arbor Lakes is a very desirable community. Combining a trendsetting style of Urban design the brownstone units are known throughout the northwest metro and twin cities. For a buyer there needs to be value in a market in decline. There are many reasons to purchase a foreclosure but money and value should rank #1. Check out the competition and compare to the $329,000 new construction. The newly listed $220,000 3 bedroom corner unit is a bargain. http://www.results.net/Search/27547 I have sold 19 units in The Bridges at Arbor Lakes and know the market as well as anyone. Did I mention I own 2 properties in The Bridges. Call your resident expert for superior advice. Aaron Lowe Re/Max Results d)952-200-4481 e)Aaron@ListWithLowe.com

Are you shopping for wholesale prices this Holiday season? The Bridges at Arbor Lakes offers buyers opportunities to purchase at a fraction of the original cost and much lower then new construction retail prices being offered by the builder. The unique "urban style" brownstones in Maple Grove, are located within walking distance to the shops & restaurants of Arbor Lakes. Originally built in 2004 at the top of the market, units sold for 20-30% above current wholesale prices. Although wholesale inventory is down and there are no current foreclosures active on the MLS. I do have insight as to a few coming on the market in coming weeks. However you could purchase new retail units? but why would you??  Since 2005, I have sold 19 units in The Bridges at Arbor Lakes. The days are long gone whe...
