The Brookside Condominiums are a beautifully located just west of Hwy 100, and north of the 50th and Vernon Shopping area. Brookside is made up of 4 buildings 4350, 4360, 4370, and 4380.   Enjoyed Spending my Morning with Friends and Colleagues at Realty House in Edina MN   This morning, we had a fantastic group of real estate professionals in attendance at Realty House in Edina for a 1.5 hour social networking course.  I thoroughly enjoyed working with this bunch of smart, savvy agents who were eager to pick up a few pointers.   The annual Taste of Edina event held at Centennial Lakes Park will be held on Thursday May 17th this year. The event is hosted by Edina’s Chamber of Commerce and is always a good time for all who participate.  The event will kick off at 4:30 pm sharp and is expected to last until 7:30pm. There will be a number of local Edina restaurants participating this year among the list include: Salut Bar American, Big Bowl, The Good Earth, D'Amico & Sons,P.F.   Mini Shopping Spree at the MAAR Realtor Store Yesterday   Last week while I was on Madeline Island for showings, I received a phone call from Delores (Dee) Hoseth at the Minneapolis Area Association of Realtors (MAAR), informing me that I had won a $25 merchandise certificate for responding to a MAAR online survey about the "Realtor Store" at MAAR headquarters in Edina, Minnesota. It's not every day that I win something, so I headed to MAAR yesterday and claimed a six-foot tall blue & white "Open House" banner for the office.  I'd been admiring these banners for a few weeks now, so the timing was good. While I'm at it, I'll put in a "plug" for the MAAR Realtor Store.   Hennepin County just celebrated its 160th Birthday on March 6th. The Minnesota Territorial Legislature established the county of Hennepin  in 1852.  Things have changed greatly since the establishment of Hennepin County, and there is plenty of history to be handed down from generation to generation. In 1852 things were done quite differently. John H. Stevens served as the first board clerk and would hold county board meetings in the parlor of his home, and diligently took detailed notes by hand.
