Who's Ready For Christmas? With Christmas right around the corner I was wondering who's ready? Who has all their decorations done, all the shopping finished and reach their destination of celebration?  Well Robert Vegas Bob Swetz is always ready for Christmas and I have to say 2017 has been a great year for me.  I would just like to give everyone a heads up that may be running behind on preparation for the Christmas holiday. You have another 3 days to get ready so take a deep breath and try not to get to buzzed on caffeine.  If your driving in traffic respect other drivers around you. When your waiting in lines shopping please don't bud in line or be rude to other shoppers. If your having a bad hair day please go fix it.And please remember you are not the only one that may be frustrated...

Cross Lake Minnesota by Robert Swetz   This beautiful sunrise was taken several years ago on a fishing trip with my brother. What a way to start the day with a vision like this. Robert (Vegas Bob) Swetz would like to wish everyone at the ActiveRain network and others a wonderful weekend.  Where ever you may go this Friday and into the weekend, try to create some time for yourself. Try to get out in nature and refresh your thoughts. Sit down for a moment in the park, at the beach, in the woods or anywhere away from the city.  Close your eyes, take in a deep breath of fresh air and think to yourself ... "Life is Wonderful"  Robert Swetz

There might not be any Internet there so I am letting you in advance if anyone is looking for me.  Here is a link with some fishing information on it........  Whitefish Chain Fishing Reports  I will be taking many photographs and I have a back up camera for emergency, if I find any Internet you better believe I will be on it posting photos, etc.  Wish me luck!  Robert Swetz (Vegas Bob)

I will be spending next weekend fishing on "The White Fish Cain" in Cross Lake Minnesota, minutes north of Brainerd. There are 13 different lakes that all connect to each other with small channels and the fishing is the best.  I will be spending some time with my folks because they are getting older and my step-mother has not been doing very well.  The rest of the weekend will be spent with my brother, my sister-in-law and their wonderful three children. I rented a 3 bedroom cabin right on the lake with a sauna, horseshoe pit, fire pits for singing around the campfire, etc.  These lakes are full of Walleye, Northern Pike, Bass, Sunfish and more, I am very excited about my trip.  I will be getting up early and taking the boat out to capture sunrises of the lake and getting off the lake...

This week I was invited by Wells Fargo lenders to travel by covered wagon (coach bus) to Minneapolis.  We left by 9:30 AM and I got home by almost 9 PM so it was a long but educational day.  It is always fun to see old friends in the real estate business and to meet new ones.   Hello, Brian Emerson! Our ride down was conversational and real estate was the topic of the morning. Wells provided us with delicious box lunches to eat on the way and we were ready to face the educational session.      Our speaker was  Rich Casto and along with a good deal of coaching and tips, we got a few laughs from his stories and examples.  As always,  the listening part is the easiest and then the implementation another story entirely  Although probably no one ran home and put into play everything that...

photo by ~~JC~~   Snacks don't have to bust your diet.  In fact, they can be quite beneficial  to help you lose weight by preventing overeating at meals.  The trick is to pass on the potato chips, cookies and candy and instead reach for lower-calorie options to keep your energy up throughout the day. Our home staging team often doesn't have time to stop and eat  on the job, so we prefer pack and go options that are healthy and take off the edge.Bagel - More filling that a buttery croissant, a bagel supplies iron and B vitamins. Instead of full-fat cream cheese, try topping with low fat cottage cheese, non-fat cream cheese or part-skim ricotta.Banana - High in heart healthy potassium, bananas also contain carbohydrates for an energy boost.  You can't beat their grab - and- go convenie...
