I spent part of today on the Huron River fishing between the dam at MossLake and down to Wixom Rd. There were a few hikers, three canoes, and a kayak on the same stretch of river. I prefer fishing the Huron in early fall just because there is less pressure on the fish. In early spring when fish are planted, the river is wall-to-wall fishermen. Not too much fun, plus the raised trout are not as difficult to catch as the remainder of the year.No I didn't catch any fish, I had three small fish follow the streamer, but no hits. Still, part of the day on the Huron River is better than being in the office! Please remember, trout season closes on the Huron River in Milford and Wixom Michigan on September 30th.                  Huron River Flies Only Section near MilfordMore trout and river inf...
